We love promoting the value of reading at The Classroom Partnership. Recently, we supplied whole collections of Roald Dahl books to schools that won from our prize draw to celebrate the legendary author’s awareness day.

After witnessing the positive impact it had on the schools, we decided we wanted to do it all over again! As a result, we’re running a new prize draw in celebration of World Book Day!

We’re giving you the chance to win £150 worth of book vouchers for your school library. To get involved, it’s really simple – schools that use The Classroom Partnership for 3 days during the month of March are automatically entered into the competition. Alternatively, if you’re one of our candidates, leave us a really positive review on one of our Facebook profiles and we’ll provide you with the vouchers for your resources or your school.

Starting on World Book Day on 1st March and ending on 31st March, it’s the perfect time to get a temporary or permanent education professional into your school. The lucky winners will be announced in the first week of April.

About World Book Day

World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

This is the 21st year there’s been a World Book Day, and on 1st March 2018, children of all ages will come together to appreciate reading. Very loudly and very happily. The main aim of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.
